Marketplace Guide
Everything you need to know about the VALYGO NFT Marketplace.
Getting Started
Connect your wallet
Click the wallet button in the top right to connect with MetaMask or any WalletConnect-compatible wallet. Make sure you are on NFTChain (Chain ID 7773777).
Get VYO for gas
You need VYO on NFTChain to pay for transactions. Send VYO from SmartChain to NFTChain via the VALYGO bridge, or receive VYO from another wallet on NFTChain.
Buying NFTs
Browse collections
Visit the Explore page to see all collections, trending NFTs, and featured items. Use the search bar to find specific collections or tokens.
Buy an NFT
Navigate to the NFT you want, check the listed price in both VYO and USD, and click the Buy button. Confirm the transaction in your wallet. The NFT transfers to your wallet and the VYO payment goes to the seller via the Seaport protocol.
View your NFTs
Go to Portfolio to see all NFTs you own, your active listings, and transaction history.
Selling NFTs
List for sale
Navigate to an NFT you own and click List for Sale. Set your price in VYO (the USD equivalent is shown automatically) and choose a duration (1-30 days). Sign the Seaport order in your wallet.
Cancel a listing
Go to your listed NFT and click Cancel Listing. The order is removed and your NFT is no longer for sale.
Promote your NFT
As the owner, you can pay a small fee to feature your NFT on the homepage. The promote button appears on your NFT detail page. Featured listings are visible for 7 days.
Creating NFTs
Mint new NFTs
Go to the Create page. Upload one or multiple images, set a collection address, add attributes, and optionally set a price to auto-list after minting.
Bulk minting
You can upload multiple files at once. Each file becomes an NFT. Set shared attributes that apply to all items in the batch.
Collection requirements
Your collection must be an ERC-721 contract on NFTChain with a mint(address, string) function. The marketplace calls this function to create your NFTs.
Profile
Set up your profile
Go to Settings to set your display name, bio, avatar, website, and social links. Saving requires a wallet signature to verify ownership.
API access
On the Settings page you can also generate an API key to mint and list NFTs programmatically. See the Developer API page for documentation.
Fees
Trading
The marketplace charges a 0.5% fee on every sale, sent to the VALYGO treasury. API Pro users pay only 0.25%. Gas is paid in VYO on NFTChain. API users get gas-sponsored minting.
NFT promotion
Featuring an NFT on the homepage costs $5 in VYO (converted at current rate). The promotion lasts 7 days and can be cancelled anytime by the owner.
Pricing
All VYO prices show the current USD equivalent based on the live VYO/USD rate. The rate updates automatically.
API Access
Free tier
500 requests per day, 10 mints per day, 10 listings per day. Gas sponsored. Get your key on the Developers page.
Pro tier
$25/month or $270/year (10% discount). 100,000 requests per day, unlimited minting and listings, gas sponsored, priority support.

Supported Standards
ERC-721
Standard NFT collections are fully supported with metadata, images, attributes, and trading via Seaport.
Seaport v1.6
All trading uses OpenSea Seaport v1.6 protocol for secure, trustless NFT exchanges.
IPFS
NFT artwork and metadata can be stored on IPFS via the VALYGO IPFS gateway at ipfs.vyoscan.com.
